WHAT IS MESSIANIC JUDAISM?
MMI Publishing Co. (1988)
Messianic Judaism is a biblically based movement of Jewish people who have come to believe in Yeshua as the promised Jewish Messiah of Israel. Yeshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus which means "Salvation". Today, there are hundreds of thousands of Messianic Jews in North America alone. Some have estimated the number to be as high as 500,000. Messianic Synagogues are springing up in almost every major city across the country including Toronto.
Other Nations such as the former Soviet Union, England, France, South Africa, Israel, and Australia are experiencing a growing movement of Messianic Jews as well.

MESSIANIC JUDAISM - QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Written by David Chernoff, MMI Publishing Co. (1990)
This booklet seeks to answer many of the most often asked questions about Messianic Judaism. The most important fact to comprehend is that it is centered around the belief that Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew) is the long promised Messiah of Israel.
He is the Messiah of whom the prophets did speak. He came and died in atonement for our sins. He was raised on the third day and is coming back again to reign over the entire earth. I trust and pray that as you read this booklet you will understand what Messianic Judaism is and how Jewish people can believe and follow Him and still remain Jewish....more |

7 STEPS TO KNOWING THE GOD OF ABRAHAM ISSAC AND JACOB
Written by David Chernoff, MMI Publishing Co. (1984)
You can experience the joy of having a dynamic personal relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! Did you know that we are all created to know God personally and to fellowship with Him daily? God is not some distant "Force" or "Prime Mover" who does not care for us. Rather, He loves each one of us and has
a wonderful plan for our lives!
"Thou wilt show me the path of life. In Thy presence is fullness of joy;
at Thy right hand are pleasures forever more". (written by King David - Psalm 16:11)
Without this personal relationship with God, there is a spiritual vacuum in our lives, a certain emptiness in our hearts that cannot be satisfied by anything this world has to offer. As you look around today, do you find that most people have this kind of personal fellowship with God? Why Not? What is stopping us from having a wonderful relationship with the Lord.... more
"Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusts in Him".
(written by King David - Psalm 34:9) |

YESHUA - WHO IS HE
Written by Dr. Michael L. Brown (1992)
Jesus - Yeshua Who was he? ...
Rabbi? Prophet? Healer? Deliverer? Savior? Messiah? Son of God?
Jesus - Yeshua Who was he? ...
Deceiver? Apostate? Magician? Rebel? Traitor? Liar? Accursed of God?
Two thousand years have come and gone, but the question remains the same: Is Jesus of Nazareth the Jewish Messiah, the Savior of the World? If he is, then let's follow him, for we have no other way. If he is not, let's expose him, for only the truth will set us free.
Although the world is full of religions, the controversy surrounding the Messiahship of Jesus is unique, because both those who accept Jesus and those who reject him based on their beliefs on one and the same Book. Jews who follow Jesus say: "He must be the Messiah, because he fulfilled all the prophesies of the Bible." Jews who don't follow Jesus say: "He can't be the Messiah, he fulfilled none of the prophesies of the Bible."
Who's right? From one Book, the Hebrew scriptures, have come two faiths. One faith says: "We'd rather die than confess the name of Jesus." The other faith says, "We'd rather die than to deny the name of Jesus." One faith says, there are two Messiahs who will only come once." The other faith says, "there is one Messiah but he will come twice." So how can we know the truth... more |

STAGGERING EYEWITNESS REPORT FROM ISRAEL
Written by Jeff Forman, Printed
by City of David (2001)
MESSIAH DIED...WAS BURIED...IS ALIVE...
YES, this is staggering news and it was reported by eyewitnesses...in Israel. Jewish writings accurately preserve these eyewitness accounts. A descendant of King David was born among His own Jewish people in Israel. He claimed to be the Messiah. He said He had come to fulfill Torah, the Law of Moses. He taught people to love the God of Israel with all their hearts and to love their neighbour as themselves.
Perfect in moral character, yet He ate with sinners, forgave adulteresses, and made friends with tax collectors. He encouraged them to travel the narrow path to heaven and warned of the reality of hell. His teachings were accompanied by awesome power and authority:
- He healed the sick
- He cleansed lepers
- He cast out demons
- He raised the dead
Some of His contemporaries, respected religious leaders of the day, jealously opposed Him. Yet, as He traveled throughout Israel, entire cities and villages were moved by His teaching and were transformed by His power and His presence..... more |
